GlovePie¶

GlovePIE is a very powerful application that allows you to customise how a controller interacts with your PC. A controller can take many forms, including game control pads, joysticks and the Wii remote! The application requires no installation.

• Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock retains the basic gameplay from previous games in the Guitar Hero series, where the player uses a guitar-shaped controller to simulate the playing of lead, bass, and rhythm guitar parts in rock songs by playing in time to scrolling notes on-screen.
• Guitar Hero 3: Legends of Rock is a rock 'n roll rhythm game and the third game in the Guitar Hero franchise. Like the previous two Guitar Hero titles and the Rock Band franchise, Legends of Rock puts the player in the shoes of an aspiring guitarist on their rise to glory.
• Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock: Directed by Brian Bright. With Aerosmith, AFI, An Endless Sporadic, Backyard Babies. Create your own band and journey around the world facing famous guitarists Slash, Tom Morello and Lou, the devil himself.
• The Wii Vault has every Wii game released in the US, all verified with Redump or No-Intro for the best quality available.

You will also need to download gh3.PIE which is a PIE script for GlovePIE that defines how the Wii Guitar Hero guitar will interact with your PC.

Guitar Hero Iii Legends Of Rock Songs

The first Guitar Hero game that Neversoft created was Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock, and it was the most successful game in the series, by far. Neversoft introduced more instruments in the fourth main series instalment, Guitar Hero World Tour, likely in an attempt to compete with Rock Band, which had released not too long after Guitar Hero III.

Once you have downloadeded GlovePIE, extract the Zip archive to a folder on your PC. Then browse to the folder and open GlovePIE.exe.

Now choose File -> Open and browse to the location where you saved gh3.PIE and open it.

In the gh3 tab (see below) you will the code for the script. You can modify it if you wish to change which keys are bound to the Wii Guitar Hero guitar buttons, when the remote should vibrate, which LEDs light up etc.

From the menu bar click Troubleshooter -> Bluetooth Fix otherwise the next step will not work.

Next click Run and the script will be executed. If successful, the first LED on the Wii remote should be lit up. If no LEDs are lit up, repeat the Bluetooth steps above.
