The Sims 3: Into the Future is the eleventh and final expansion pack for The Sims 3. Into the Future was initially announced on January 8, 2013 during an EA live broadcast, though at the time the game was only in early development, and did not have an official name. The concept of the pack was refined over the year, and was finally released on. Having had a good amount of time to play through The Sims 3 recent and final expansion pack to the franchise, I've decided to make a video walkthrough series for specific aspects of the new expansion pack. In real life, 'engineered babies' are known by many different names: designer babies, test tube babies, petri dish babies, etc. With The Sims Into the Future, Sims can now engineer a baby in the future and bring it back to the present. You can also predetermine the genes of the babies.Sims 3 Into The Future
Same-sex couples can now have a biological baby together that takes the appearance of both Sims and blends them. No more adoption (unless you really want to)
To engineer a baby, you must travel to the future, and go to the hospital where you can choose to engineer a baby for $5,000 Simoleons. You need to have both parents of the baby present to go into the hospital.
If you don't have a partner, but want to try this in the future, befriend Emit or another townie and drag them along.
[Alternatively, if you download NRaas Woohooer, this option becomes available in the hospital in the homeworld]
You then have the choice to 'Customize' or 'Randomize' the baby's DNA. You can choose hair colour, eye colour, and traits for the baby. The only thing you really cannot choose is which parent the baby resembles more, unfortunately.
It will take multiple hours for your Sims to engineer a baby. It's recommended to go with high motives, due to how long this process actually takes, as the Sims remain in the hospital during this time.
Eventually, you can choose or randomize the baby's name.
When the engineering is finally complete, the Sim will walk out with a brand new baby in their arms.
You can do this as many times as you please, granted that you have enough Simoleons to do so and your household is not full.
Happy Simming,
